Jessica has always been interested in film and television industry. Modeling was the first step in her professional career. A Australian casting director approached her to conduct auditions. She was cast as "Kiki," the main character in the film Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls. The years that followed, she's had small roles in Peter Pan and Aquamarine. The Netflix Original series Roman Empire, she played Cleopatra. She also appeared on the movie Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is a classic in the cult genre. Jessica was selected in the global search in 2018 for The role of Talon as the main character who is the protagonist in The Outpost. The producers asked for a short video of Jessica performing and MMA. The producers received a short video that she shot the next day, showing herself sword fighting. Jessica, after reading the script of the role she realized it was important to acquire weaponry. So she made her first practice lesson. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt crew were astonished by how she performed in the initial lesson. The Outpost marked her first major role in the US as her previous filmographies were in Australia. Jessica's martial arts as well as horseback riding capabilities and athletic skills allow her to do stunts, portraying the tough woman. She's studied boxing and muay Thai in Australia, as well as taking classes at a mixed martial arts gym. Jake Stormoen was working on his Season 4 set when he encountered a dog that was wandering around. The stray dogs had occupied the entire set. Jessica brought in two of the pups.
